Google analytics gives you the ability to easily track your web site traffic, it provides basic but powerful statistics about how well you’re content and site are performing, information is presented in a clear and easy to use format.

  • Set up a website profile within your accounts control panel
  • Copy and insert the unique code into your website

You can set up as many profiles as you need just by following steps 2 and 3 for each site.

After you’ve performed these steps you’ll be able to see your data presented in different styles including tabular and various graphs.

A sites profile data will tell you:

  • how many visitors come to your site 
  • which pages are getting the most views,
  • which pages have the greatest bounce rate (where a visitor leaves your site),
  • where the traffic to your site is coming from, which referring sites and even which countries the viewers are located.

If you need more detail you can drill down and get even more specific information on individual pages.
