How I work
I work closely with stakeholders to define a clear picture of the projects goals and requirements, repeat clients often provide a brief only.
User Experience (UX) design
Depending on the brief and the budget, user interviews and other appropriate research methods are advised to deliver the most effective solution. After a review of user statistics and research results, I create wire-frame designs to define concepts, structure and functionality based around the user and how they’re intended to use the application. Wireframes are then reviewed and refined until we have signed-off the designs.
Front-end UI development
As a Front-end UI developer, I create a pixel perfect HTML, CSS and jQuery prototype with emphasis on SEO, I then assist with integration to current systems or an appropriate CMS, the majority of this work is fairly independent.
Post Launch
Post launch support is provided as required, typically monitoring traffic and refining the structure for the intended usage, developing style guides.
UX design and UI development can be provided independently as required.
