The new Metricon.com.au website has reached it’s best results to date with over 8000 hits daily making it Australia’s 2nd most visited building website.
Out of a team of three, I was responsible for the website design and front end development (custom coding html & css from scratch using js & jquery) the site is not only optimised for greater search engine results it offers a streamlined user experience making researching new homes a breeze.
There’s a bundle of new features including an improved product finder, including add to favourites and compare homes. Click through to a home section that groups interactive floor plans, media, full screen virtual tours, image galleries, promotional and other useful information that feel like individual mini websites contained within one global site. Interlinking with Google maps finding where your preferred homes on display is simple, type in your location to list and plot directions. Using simpler navigation panels that provide more information than standard link menus you’ll find useful company information easily as well as, home packages or displays for sale, plus useful services and tools that allow you to envisage your own designs.
